Norway will support  Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia (NDAG) to develop Master’s programs for its students.

The positive news came after a meeting yesterday between Georgia’s Minister of Defence Tinatin Khidasheli and the Commandant of Norway’s Defence University Admiral Louise Dedichen.

Dedichen was the first woman in Norway to be granted the title of Admiral.

Khidasheli said the NDCA planned to launch its Master’s programs for the first time later this year and Norway was "very motivated’ and eager to offer full support Georgia as it worked in this direction.

Dedichen has held several meetings over the past two days in our country where she learned that Georgia is a reliable partner and [Norway] can think about further, closer cooperation [with us],” Khidasheli said.

Additionally the Norwegian official announced a memorandum about student exchange programs would be signed in the near future between the NDAG and Norway’s Defence University.
