Georgia’s win against Romania in last weekend’s final rugby game of the European Nations Cup (ENC) has drawn the attention of world rugby officials, who released a new video compilation of memorable moments of the match.

The two minute video published on Monday by World Rugby – the sport’s official governing body – highlighted some of the best moments from the tournament's principal match between Georgia and Romania in Tbilisi on March 19.

Georgia was crowned champions of the ENC tournament for the ninth time after defeating its rivals 38-9, scoring six tries in the process.

As well as winning the match the team gained bonus points for scoring more than three tries. This was the first time Georgia had scored more than three tries against Romania.

The result of the match at Dinamo Arena in capital Tbilisi meant the Lelos had won all five games in this year’s ENC tournament.

Georgia and Romania were the front runners and the main challengers of the ENC Division 1A title since its inception in 2000, with 13 of the 14 tournament titles shared between the two teams.

Portugal won the only title not claimed by Georgia or Romania in the 2003-04 season.
