Rugby European Nations Cup: Georgia defeats Portugal

Georgia’s national rugby team has won its second game of the European Nations Cup (ENC) 2016 today.

The Lelos defeated Portugal 29-3 in Portuguese capital Lisbon.

The Georgian side scored five tries.

As of today the Georgian team has 10 points and leads the ENC competition. The Lelos are followed closely by Russia and Romania with nine points each.

Looking ahead, the Lelos play their next match on February 27 home soil on against Spain, before heading abroad to play Russia on March 12.

The following game, on March 19, the Georgian side will play another home game against Romania.

Georgia won its first ENC game against Germany on February 6.
