Voter turnout at today’s second round of the 2016 Parliamentary Elections reached almost five percent by 10am.
A short time ago Georgia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) spokesperson Ani Mikeladze said voter turnout by 10am was 4.65 percent.
This was equivalent to 115,302 votes being cast at 50 majoritarian districts where a runoff is taking place.
The most active polling station was #37 polling station in eastern Mtskheta, where nine percent of registered voters have cast their vote.
Meanwhile the least number of voters were detected at polling stations in central Tbilisi Vake-Saburtalo districts and at election stations in eastern Gori region, Mikeladze said.
Polling stations will close at 8pm this evening.
