A special festival of street theatre is coming to Georgia's seaside city Batumi, bringing together more than a dozen local and foreign troupes to entertain audiences over 10 days.

From August 5, public parks and streets all over the coastal city will be hotspots for the street performances by troupes from France, the United Kingdom and Slovakia, as well as local ensembles from Batumi, Tbilisi and Telavi.

The Batumi Boulevard, Era Square and the Piazza will host acclaimed shows like acrobatic dance performance Frantic by British collective Acrojou and famous historical figures played by actors of the Big Names show from Slovakia.
