Berlin-based Georgian pianist Dudana Mazmanishvili became focus of Germany's public broadcasting on Sunday as a two-hour radio program celebrated the artist's performing talents.
The radio broadcast of January 17 followed Mazmanishvili's debut at the Ruhr Piano Festival in Germany last year, and critical acclaim of her performances in Europe and the United States.
The German public radio featured the award-winning pianist's interpretation of three pieces by famous classical composers Alexander Scriabin, Johannes Brahms and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

The program also praised Mazmanishvili as a "phenomenal" pianist and highlighted her status of Georgia's "culture ambassador to Germany".
Born in Georgia's capital Tbilisi, Mazmanishvili first moved to Germany in 1998 to study under the guidance of famous Georgian pianist Elisso Virsaladze at Munich's High School of Music and Theatre.
She later graduated from New York's Mannes College of Music and debuted at New York's famed Carnegie Hall in 2006.
Her performance at the venue was called "staggeringly virtuosic and powerful" by music critic Harris Goldsmith in his piece for Classical Music Review.
Mazmanishvili was a recipient of the Dorothy MacKenzie Award at the International Keyboard Festival and the Nadia Reisenberg Award in New York City, among other prizes.
