Georgia’s Parliament Speaker visits Latvia

Georgia’s Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili will today hold meeting with Latvia’s President, Prime Minister and other high officials in Riga.

Usupashvili, accompanied by a delegation, is paying an official visit to Latvia.

Within the visit he was scheduled to meet President Raimonds Vejonis, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma and Speaker of the Latvian Parliament (Seimas) Inara Murniece.

While in Riga, the Georgian delegation will participate in a round table discussion at Latvian University and attend the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the Georgian alphabet.

Usupashvili will also meet local media in the Latvian capital city.

The Georgian delegation will end their visit on January 19.
