Georgia and China are taking several steps closer to deepen economic ties and benefit from bilateral tourism.

The two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday in China to implement a range of tourism projects that encourages tourists to travel to the partner nation.

In recent years Georgia and China have been actively developing an economic relationship, which is evident with projects that are being implemented in Georgia with the support of the Chinese Government. The MoU we signed also proves [both sides’] readiness to implement new initiatives,” said Georgia’s Deputy Economy Minister Ketevan Bochorishvili after she signed the MoU on behalf of Georgia.
