Georgia’s breakaway regions will be in focus when an OSCE high official visits Georgia this week.
Secretary General of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Lamberto Zannier will visit Georgia tomorrow.
In the framework of his three-day official visit, Zannier will meet Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli garibashvili, Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili and Georgian Parliament representatives.
The meetings will focus on OSCE-Georgia relations and the current situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied regions.
The OSCE Secretary General will visit the so-called administrative border line between Georgia and breakaway Tskhinvali region (South Ossetia), as well as one of Georgian Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) settlements.
