Georgian PM to meet top EU officials in Brussels

Four of 28 EU states have already ratified the EU-Georgia Association Agreement.

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, will travel to Brussels this week on an official working visit and meet the new leadership of the EU.

Garibashvili is scheduled to travel to Brussels, Belgium, on Thursday, February 26.

Spokesman of Georgia’s Foreign Ministry David Kereselidze said while abroad, Garibashvili would meet with European Union top officials, including European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, European Council President Donald Tusk and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Kereselidze said Garibashvili and the EU officials would discuss all issues related to Georgia’s European integration, including the Georgia-EU Association Agreement, regional security and the Ukraine crisis.
