Young people from one of Georgia’s smaller towns have launched a creative campaign to make sure "no one is hungry” in their neighbourhood.
They installed a refrigerator at one of the central streets of the town of Gori in central Georgia, where everyone can donate their extra food for those who are financially challenged and cannot afford food.

The campaign named Public Bridge was initiated by Gori-based Youth Movement DROA and was supported by Gori City Hall and the Food Safety Agency.
"Show your solidarity and give your extra food, bread, fruits or candies away to those in need; together we can make sure no one is hungry in our town,” the initiators said.
DROA was granted the fridge and other materials for the initiative through Orbeliani Georgia online platform, nongovernmental organisation that helps people get their ideas funded to make positive changes in their communities.
The enthusiasts also put special instructions on the fridge to ensure food safety. According to the instructions, everyone was asked to put their food in a special container and label each container with the date when the food inside was cooked before placing it in the fridge.
Those who grab the food from the fridge were asked not to take the container that had not labeled.
Volunteers already began bringing food to the bridge and make the holidays happier for others.
