Germany is supporting Georgia to develop important structures of the economy by offering trainings to local staff in marketing, creative business and management directions.

A delegation from Germany’s Economy and Energy Ministries and the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ) are visiting Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi this week within the Managers Qualification Program.

From December 7-9 the German experts will select and invite the first group of Georgians to take part in the training courses in Germany.

While in Tbilisi the German experts will also hold a seminar titled ‘The Country’s Marketing’ for interested locals.

The Managers Qualification Program will continue in 2016 and 2018 and facilitate cooperation between Georgian managers and German business partners.

The program was launched by GIZ and Georgia's Economy Ministry's Entrepreneurship Development Agency (Enterprise Georgia). The program aimed to benefit small and middle-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are interested in establishing business ties with German companies.
