Increasing the quality of education in Georgia and creating jobs for everyone are two goals the Government of Georgia wants to achieve.

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili summed up the past three years and talked about the priorities of his team when he met locals in western Georgia’s Samegrelo region.

He named some of the top achievements his Government enjoyed since it came into power in 2012. These included:

"Georgia should become a place not of controversy but peace, trade, negotiations and international agreements,” Garibashvili said, adding the recent Tbilisi Silk Road Forum was one of steps taken in this direction.

The Georgian PM also said his country would never tolerate any foreign occupation and believed the Russian occupation of two breakaway regions of Georgia would soon end.
