Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has offered condolences to his Kuwaiti counterpart following last week’s terrorist attack in the Middle Eastern nation of Kuwait.

On Friday a suicide bomber targeted a Shiite mosque, killing at least 27 people in the deadly explosion.

Garibashvili’s condolence letter to Kuwait’s Prime Minister Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah stated the Georgian Government and the people of Georgia were deeply saddened by the news.

"Georgia condemns terrorism in all its forms in the world unconditionally,” Garibashvili said.
"We consider this cruel and appalling act as the greatest crime against the entire civilized world.”

The Georgian PM said the people of Georgia stood beside the friendly nation of Kuwait during these difficult days.
