Tbilisi hosts German Foreign Minister today

Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is coming to Georgia today for his second working visit this year.
Within his two-day visit he is scheduled to meet with his Georgian counterpart Tamar Beruchashvili and then Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
In the evening the German guest will be hosted by Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili.
A joint press conference will be held after the meeting between Steinmeier and Beruchashvili, which will be followed by a signing ceremony of an agreement that will foresee the Georgian side provide the German side with a piece of land in Tbilisi where a German International School will be built.
This will be the second time Steinmeier has visited Georgia this year. He first came to Georgia in April accompanied by the Foreign Minister of France.

The Foreign Ministers of two European Union member countries are set to arrive in Georgia for a two-day official visit with Georgian leaders.
"We believe that Germany and France will effectively promote Georgia’s full integration into the European space”, said Georgia’s Foreign Minister after meeting with the French and German Foreign Ministers in Tbilisi today.
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier were in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, on the first leg of a trip aimed to reinvigorate foreign policy ties between Tbilisi, Berlin and Paris.
