German Foreign Minister to visit Georgia

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is coming to Georgia next week for his second working visit.
On December 8 and 9, the German official will meet top Georgian officials; President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili.
This will be the second time Steinmeier has visited Georgia.
He first came to Georgia in April accompanied by the Foreign Minister of France.
This information regarding Steinmeier’s visit was spread this morning as "urgent” by Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Foreign Ministers of two European Union member countries are set to arrive in Georgia for a two-day official visit with Georgian leaders.
"We believe that Germany and France will effectively promote Georgia’s full integration into the European space”, said Georgia’s Foreign Minister after meeting with the French and German Foreign Ministers in Tbilisi today.
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier were in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, on the first leg of a trip aimed to reinvigorate foreign policy ties between Tbilisi, Berlin and Paris.

A trilateral format of political consultations has been created between Georgian, French and German deputy foreign ministers to further enhance relations between the three countries.
