President Giorgi Margvelashvili leaves for Poland

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has made his way to Poland to meet his Polish counterpart. 

As well as meeting Poland's President Bronisław Komorowski , Margvelashvili's press service said the Georgian official would also meet Poland’s Marshal of the Sejm Radoslaw Sikorski.

According to an initiative of the two countries’ presidents, an international conference will be held at the University of Warsaw, of which both will attend. 

While abroad Margvelashvili also planned to open the 12th International Caucasus Session after Grigol Peradze, a famous Georgian ecclesiastic figure, theologian, scholar and historian who served in Poland. 

Margvelashvili will end his visit with a speech at Poland’s International Relations Institute on the topic "Georgia- Bridge of Europe between the west and east”.

Margvelashvili is scheduled to return home accompanied by a Georgian delegation on December 5.
