Georgian Parliament web-site is hacked

"We love Iran. We are not enemy of any people, even Americans. Please Patch your web security, because your security is too low. Your database is safe. this message was left after the cyber-attack on Georgian Parliament webpage on December 31.
According to the press-center for the Parliament, the investigation will reveal who is responsible for the cyber-attack; however it will take long time.
Currently the website is unavailable at 5:00 pm.
It was the first time when the Parliament website became a target of hackers. However Georgia became a target of the large-scale cyber-attack in August of 2008, when the Russian hackers took down Georgian web sites during the 2008 war between the two countries.
Hacker attacks have been carried out against 2,000 websites including that of the President of Georgia, Courts of Georgia, NGOs, local self-governments and private organizations. Hacker attack victim sites are mainly hosted on the Proservice server. The company says that “this is a global flow and they are working to eliminate and fix the problem”.
The National Bank of Georgia and the country’s financial sector have teamed up to join the Cybersecurity Awareness Month global campaign on raising awareness around the issue.
