Floods damaged seaside houses

The seaside houses were flooded due to the 6-magnitude storm in Ureki, the touristic zone along the Black Sea.

The seaside houses were flooded due to the 6-magnitude storm in Ureki, the touristic zone along the Black Sea (West Georgia). According to the Emergency Management Agency and Emergency Situations Department, no casualties have been reported.

The storm also occurred in Batumi, Adjara. The electricity has already been repaired. Batumi had electrical blackout for two days due to the heavy snow and severe weather.

A landslide occurred in the mountainous villages of Adjara. According to the Roads Department of Georgia, heavy vehicles and trailers are still prohibited and the cars can only be operated with the anti-skid tire chains.
