Georgian border-guard wins Kickboxing World Championship

Border guard of the Georgian Border Police N4 Division (Dedoplistrqaro, Kaktehi region, East Georgia) becomes the world champion in kickboxing. Khvicha Qoquashvili, 23, participated in the heavy weight category (86kg). He held four battles and won all of them, three of them with a knockout.

The world championship was held in Antalya, Turkey. Entrants from about 100 countries participated in it. Qoquashvili participated in the contest on behalf of the Dedoplistsqaro sport team named "Champion.

The Georgian border guard defeated world champions and proclaimed leading kick boxers from Denmark, Turkey, Algeria and Croatia during his battles.

"My childhood dream has come true, Ive achieved my goal and I became a world champion, Khvicha Qoquashvili said.

Along with the world champions title, he also received a certificate for being the best fighter.
