The U.S. Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland will pay a visit in Tbilisi on December 6 where she plans to meet with Georgian government officials and opposition leaders.
The press service of the U.S. Department of Statereported that the visit is a part of the trip which also includes visits to Belgium, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia.
In Tbilisi Nuland will discuss bilateral and regional issues and Georgias path toward Europe. She will also participate in a disability rights event.
Before Tbilisi Nuland will visit Brussels, where she will accompany Secretary of State John Kerry to the NATO ministerial meeting; after Brussels she will accompany Kerry to Moldova. Nuland will be in Ukraine for OSCE ministerial meeting in Kiev on December 5. After visiting Tbilisi, Nuland will head to Moscow.
Assistant Secretary Nuland meet in Moscow with senior Russian government officials to discuss the range of bilateral relations and global issues. She will also meet with foreign policy experts and civil society groups."
