Georgian junior chess players Kesaria Mgeladze and Anastasia Kirtadze earned first and second prizes in the Cracovia Chess Festival hosted in Poland this week.
In the C category competition of the event, Mgeladze finished first and earned 64 rating points for her ranking.
On her part, 13-year-old Kirtadze was second in category B after scoring five out of possible nine points and earning 73 rating points for her rating.

Davit Nemsadze, who competed in the A category section, scored 4.5 points out of nine and gained 50 rating points, while Davit Tatvidze earned five points and added 80 rating points to his statistics in the C category.
Hosted by the southern Polish city of Krakow, the festival started on December 27 and concluded on Wednesday.
