Georgian sports shooters claimed gold and silver medals at the International Shooting Sport Federation Grand Prix in the Slovenian town of Ruse on Monday.
Mariam Prodiashvili and Tsotne Machavariani won the qualification stage with 575 points before defeating their Armenian rivals Elmira Karapetian and Benik Khlghatyan with a score 16:14, earning the gold.

The women’s national team, involving three-time Olympic medal winner Nino Salukvadze along with Mariam Frodiashvili and Lizi Kiladze, claimed a silver medal after conceding the final to Polish rivals with a score 6:16.
On their part, the men’s team ended fourth in the competition after Levan Kadagidze, Akaki Mosulishvili and Machavariani lost the match for the bronze medal against Switzerland 10:16.
