Justice ministry to transform community centres into public service halls in bid to improve service

Community centres of Georgia’s justice ministry will be transformed into public service halls in the state body’s bid to offer improved services to the public throughout the country, deputy minister Erekle Gvinianidze said on Wednesday.
Gvinianidze said the change would enable the population in rural areas to receive 470 services instead of 250 as a result of the rebranding slated to start next year.
We have decided to transform 88 community centres into public service halls. Infrastructure works and training of employees are currently underway”, the official announced.
The deputy minister also said staff of regional community centres would receive increased salaries starting next year.
The Ministry of Justice of Georgia has opened the 63th community centre in the village of Udabno, at the Georgia-Azerbaijan border, to make up to 200 public and private sector services available to the local population.
The Georgian Ministry of Justice has opened the 68th community centre in the Municipality of Keda in the country’s Black seaside region of Adjara. The community centre provides up to 20,000 resident from 64 villages with over 200 public and private sector services.
The fiftieth community centre was opened today in rural Pasanauri, in Georgia’s Mtskheta-Mtianeti region to give residents the opportunity to access a variety of public and private sector services.
