Georgian Prime Minister launches Uzbekistan visit

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili launched his visit to Uzbekistan on Monday by placing a wreath at the Independence Monument in capital Tashkent.

He also visited the Tashkent technopark and was introduced by Uzbek officials to the production process at the location.

Flanked by members of his Government, the Georgian PM was earlier welcomed at the Islam Karimov International Airport in the city.

During  his visit, Garibashvili will hold bilateral high-level meetings, the Government Administration said.
