Georgian figure skater duo Karina Safina and Luka Berulava have earned a qualification spot for the 2022 Winter Olympics scheduled to be held in the Chinese capital of Beijing.
The Georgian duo earned 178.16 points bringing Georgia to the third position qualifying for the Olympic license in figure skating at the pairs’ event at Nebelhorn Trophy.
Earlier in March, Figure skaters Moris Kvitelashvili and Alina Urushadze have also earned Georgia the qualification spots for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Figure skater Moris Kvitelashvili earned Georgia its second qualification spot for the 2022 Winter Olympics, after adding to the success of Alina Urushadze at the World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm on the weekend.
17-year-old Georgian figure skater Alina Urshadze has qualified for the Olympic Games scheduled to be held in the Chinese capital of Beijing next year. Urushadze, who participates in the 2021 World Figure Skating Championship in Stockholm, Sweden, has meanwhile taken the 20th place in the international competition.
