The championship was organised by the International Skating Union (ISU) on December 5-8.
The organisers said the Georgian duo offered "a captivating performance" with "difficult twizzles and a spectacular combination lift".
We came out knowing that there was nothing to lose, that we worked not to be afraid of something. People came to watch us and we must show everything we worked on in practice", Revia said.
He added as well that they both "have a lot of emotions" after the victory and can hardly "realise" that they won.
Founded in 1892, ISU is the exclusive international sport federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) administering sports in the Branches of Figure Skating and Speed Skating throughout the world.
