Police have detained five individuals, including a drug dealer in Georgia’s Black Sea region of Adjara today, reports the Interior Ministry.
An official statement released by the Interior Ministry reads that four among the five detainees are foreign citizens.
The offenders, identified only as B.A., T.D., A.G., have been detained for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs.

Another individual, identified only as A.G., was detained in Batumi for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs. The Interior Ministry says that he had been convicted in the past.

Police have also seized 247 packages of drugs, including Alpha-PVP during the personal search of two other individuals, identified only as V.K. and O.P.
The crime is punishable by 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
