Georgian and Irish Presidents Salome Zurabishvili and Michael Higgins discussed European, regional and global issues during a phone conversation yesterday.
They also spoke on the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and ‘the need to make vaccines available on an equitable basis, to those most in need’.

Congratulating Ireland on its election to the UN Security Council, President Zurabishvili said small countries like Georgia and Ireland 'need to work together to make their voices heard in the face of global challenges'.
