Georgian law enforcers have detained one individual for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA).
An official statement released by MIA reads that officers of the Criminal Police Department of the MIA, along with employees of the Tbilisi Office of Drug Enforcement Administration under the US Department of Justice and Service for the Fight Against Smuggling under the State Customs Committee of Armenia, have detained M.K. for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs.
Police found that the detainee was receiving drugs from Armenia for further distribution.
During a search of the detainee, law enforcers seized Alpha-PVP, mephedrone and a replacement substance of Alpha-PVP.
The crime is punishable by up to six years in prison.
