Rescuers have saved a roe deer in the town of Tsageri, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region, in west Georgia earlier today.
The roe deer had fallen into the Tskhenistskali reservoir and could not get out of the water.
The deer had several injuries but was treated by a veterinarian on the spot.
At first, the roe deer was noticed by residents of Tsageri who called Georgia's Emergency Service 112.
