Georgian legislators meet NATO PA President in London

Georgian legislators met with the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) Madeleine Moon on the sidelines of the 65th NATO PA annual session in London.
The parliamentary chairs of foreign relations committee and defence and security committee, Sofio Katsarava add Irakli Sesiashvili, thanked Moon for supporting Georgia.
Moon told the Georgian 1st channel that at the upcoming plenary session this Monday she will talk about her recent visit to Georgia.
During her visit to Georgia last month, Moon traveled to the occupation line with Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) where she met with the local man Davit Vanishvili, who lives behind a barbed wire fence.

Acting President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) Attila Mesterhazy said the assembly “has recognised Georgia’s aspiration to join NATO and supports it on its path, particularly through close dialogue and active cooperation" with the Parliament of Georgia.
