Georgian athletes have won two more silver medals at the final day of the 2nd European Games 2019, bringing the total amount of medals to 30 for the country.
Boxer Sakhil Allakhverdov and Greco-Roman wrestler Iakob Kajaia won the silver medals.
In total, Georgia has won 30 medals: six gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze.

The 2nd European Games 2019 is coming to an end today, with Georgia taking 28 medals: six gold, eight silver and 14 bronze.
After nine days of competition, Georgia stands in sixth at the European Games in Minsk.

Georgian Karate fighter Gogita Arkania took “a historic medal” and became the first Georgian athlete to get a medal at the European Games in karate, says the Ministry of Education and Sport of Georgia.

The other two medals were taken by the Greco-Roman wrestling team.
Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler Shmagi Bolkvadze (67kg) won silver, while another athlete from Georgia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team Davit Chkhartishvili (60kg) won bronze.
In total 61 athletes from Georgia are competing in the second edition of the European Games being held in Belarus from June 21-30.
Georgian freestyle wrestlers have earned two medals at the Minsk European Games yesterday. 2016 Olympic champion Vladimer Khinchegashvili (65 kg) took silver, defeating Russian wrestler Akhmed Chakaev but in the final he lost to Azerbaijani athlete Haji Aliyev with a score of 10:2.
Georgian athletes have elevated their team to third place in medal rankings after a haul of prizes over the first four days of the European Games held in Minsk.
Georgian judoka Guram Tushishvili became the champion of the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus. Tushishvili, 24, defeated a Russian judoka Inal Tasoev in the over 100 category. The Georgian judoka won the world championship in 2018, and the European championship in 2017.
A total of 61 athletes from Georgia have departed for Belarus to participate in the second edition of the European Games to be held from June 21-30.
Georgian Greco-Roman wrestlers Nugzar Tsurtsumia and Lasha Gobadze have won the World Championship in Kazakhstan in their respective categories.
The Georgian team of U19 athletes has earned six medals at 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival underway in Baku, Azerbaijan. Georgian freestyle wrestlers Luka Gugeshashvili (48 kg) and Davit Abdaladze (60 kg) were awarded silver and bronze medals.
The Georgian delegation departed for Baku, Azerbaijan today to participate in the 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival on 21-27 July. Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Education, Science, Culture and Sports Minister Mikheil Batiashvili and President of Olympic Committee Leri Khabelovi saw off the athletes and wished them success.
