Carty Foundation ready to finance treatment of injured during Tbilisi protests

Cartu Foundation is willing to finance treatment of injured during the clash with police in front of the parliament of Georgia on June 20-21.

Avtandil Talakvadze, Director at the Emergency Situation Coordination and Urgent Assistance Centre said only ten people remain in hospitals as of today.

He said, one injured has been sent to the hospital in Munich, Germany, another will leave for Israel for rehabilitation tonight, while two police officers will continue treatment in a hospital in Turkey.

240 individuals, including 32 journalists and 80 law enforcers were injured during a clash on Rustaveli Avenue of June 20. 

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili awarded today four medics for their high professionalism and dedication during the Thursday's clash in Tbilisi.
