The Interior Ministry has destroyed narcotic substances worth approximately 55 million GEL ($20 mln/€ 18 mln).
The drugs were seized during 737 investigating operations conducted around the country at different times, the Ministry reported.

The drugs which were burnt in a high-temperature furnace included:
- 178kg and 667gr of Heroine;
- 2088 pills of Subutex;
- 590 pills of Codein;
- 38.471gr of Metadone:
- 525 pills and 18.21gr of MDMA;
- 170 tablets of Tramadole, and
- other psychotropic and new psychoactive substances.

Today’s procedure was attended by the representatives of different ministries and agencies together with the Interior Ministry staff.
