Up to 70 wine professionals from different countries are visiting Georgia this week, who will attend the Natural Wine Festival ZERO COMPROMISE on May 10 and New Wine Festival scheduled for May 11, announces the Georgian National Wine Agency.
The main goal of both festivals is to popularise Georgian wine, raise the level of wine education in Georgia and enhance consumer culture
Masters of wine, sommeliers, wine importers, wine writers, bloggers and media representatives from Italy, Canada, Poland, the USA, Sweden, Denmark, France, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Japan will visit Georgia.

A group of sommeliers from the United States (US) is visiting Georgia for one week to learn more about the country’s rich wine history and culture.
Wine professionals from the Netherlands have just completed their visit to Georgia and positively assessed their fascinating journey along the country’s wine routes.
British wine writer Andrew Jefford on why Georgian wine is important
Famous British journalist and wine writer Andrew Jefford held a Georgian wine seminar “Why is Georgian Wine Important” at an exhibition called ‘Georgia – Homeland of Wine’ being held in the Japanese capital of Tokyo between March 10 - May 7.
Japan’s only wine master Kenichi Ohashi is visiting Georgia with wine importers, sommeliers and a group of journalists in order to explore ways of increasing Georgian wine imports to Japan.
