Floating beach wheelchairs to be made available for those with disabilities in Batumi

The Batumi boulevard administration plans to purchase floating beach wheelchairs for those with disabilities.
Five wheelchairs will be bought initially. They will be placed on the old boulevard and an adapted fitting room and bathroom will be installed for the disabled.
The floating beach wheelchairs will be available for free.
A complex with the wheelchairs will be set up along the Old Ship restaurant.
The floating water wheelchairs can safely float in water.
They also enable people with disabilities to access soft terrains such as sand, grass and snow.
People in Tbilisi will pay an hourly fee for parking starting 1 July.
