Three new aerial tramways will be built in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced the three locations at today’s government meeting.
These locations are Samgori-Vazisubani, Akhmeteli-Temka and Sameba-Makhata Mount.
A technical and economic study will take five months and about 750,000 GEL (about $278,293/€248,287) will be spent on it.
Many people are moving about these locations and I am sure these routes will a good transportation means like the subway, buses and mini-buses,” Kaladze said.
The technical and economic study will reveal which of the three locations are a priority and where the project should start first, Kaladze said.
