Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze have sent their holiday wishes to all celebrating Easter.
A portion of the Christian population in Georgia is celebrating Easter today, including Catholics, Evangelical-Lutherans and Armenian Christians.
The resurrection of Christ is about victory over death, faith in eternal life and it fills people with love,” PM Kvirikashvili said.
He wished everyone spiritual strength and happiness.
I believe the love of our homeland is and will be an important basis for the happiness of our families, the success of our children and the strength of our statehood”, President Margvelashvili said.
Mayor Kaladze praised the long-lasting friendship between the Georgian and Armenian population in the capital of Tbilisi.
He said everything should be done to make this friendship even deeper.
