The Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has welcomed a Georgia-Serbia visa free deal, which will be signed during Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze’s ongoing visit to Serbia.
Vucic stated that the Serbian government intends to activate the agreement "in the coming days.”
The president believes that the deal will further enhance Georgia-Serbia ties in many directions, trade-economic cooperation among them.
The officials also discussed the possibility of appointing diplomats until the two countries’ introduced full-fledged diplomatic mission.
Janelidze and Vuchich welcomed the Georgia-Serbia business forum which is planned to be held in Tbilisi.
The Serbian president stated his country was eager to share Georgia’s experience in terms of economic reforms.
For his part Janelidze highlighted Serbia’s success for the Euro-Atlantic integration and showed interest for Georgia to share the experience.
Before the visit to Serbia Janelidze held meetings in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
