Georgian-Serbian business forum to be held in 2018

Business delegation from Serbia will visit Georgia and the country will host a joint business forum next year.

The decision was made during today’s meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic.

Discussing the prospective for deepening cooperation between Georgia and Serbia, Kvirikashvili and Ljajic said the new agreement on trade-economic relations serves as a step forward.

The  agreement aims to:

  • Improve trade-economic relations between Georgia and Serbia,
  • Strengthen cooperation between the business societies of both countries,
  • Encourage entrepreneurial initiatives and
  • Help provide for a more efficient use of economic resources.

Serbian Minister Ljajic signed the agreement with Georgian Economy Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili earlier today.
