The Georgian delegation headed by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has left for Armenia today.
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan welcomed the Georgian officials at the airport this morning.

Following the official welcome ceremony, the two prime ministers had a face-to-face meeting during which Kvirikashvili and Karapetyan praised the long-lasting friendship between Georgia and Armenia.
PM Kvirikashvili has also scheduled a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

The political and trade-economic cooperation are among the main issues the Georgian and Armenian officials will be discussing at various meetings today.
It is noteworthy that this year the both countries are celebrating the 100th anniversary since gaining independence from Russia in 1918.
