Georgia received $137.2 million from abroad in October 2018, while remittances leaving Georgia totalled $21.2 million, says the National Bank of Georgia.
Last month Georgia received 11.6% more in remittances than in October of 2017.
Russia ($39.66 million), Italy ($16.67 million) and Greece ($15.34 million) were the largest remittance senders in October 2018.
Overall, the vast majority (93.4%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 17 countries.
