Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and discussed Georgian-Lithuanian relations within the NATO and the EU formats.
Our countries have growing and positive dynamics in all directions and the officials spoke how the positive trend could be further encouraged,” the president’s representative Tengiz Pkhaladze stated.

Pkhaladze also said that Margvelashvili and Skvernelis discussed the regional security issues, situation in Georgia’s occupied regions and the country’s prospects for European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Pkhaladze, who was attending the meeting, added that Lithuania is Georgia’s strategic partner and the officials touched upon all the issues covered by bilateral ties.

The Lithuanian official has already met with Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
