President of Switzerland arrives in Georgia

The President of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard has arrived in Georgia on an official working visit today.
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will host Leuthard at an official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace on December 4, which will be followed by a meeting between the two presidents.

The meeting will be followed by a press conference during which Margvelashvili and Leuthard will answer questions of local and foreign media.
During her two-day visit to Georgia, the President of Swiss Confederation will also meet with the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Parliamentary Chairperson Irakli Kobakhidze.
President of Switzerland Doris Leuthard has stated that she gives the "highest scores” to the Georgian government’s activities and the "impressive reforms” the government has carried out.
Georgian high officials sent their warm wishes to Switzerland on Swiss National Day on August 1.
