Georgia extradites a man to US charged for sexual abuse of child

Georgia’s Chief Prosecutor’s Office has extradited a man wanted by American law enforcers since 2012 through the cooperation with the US Embassy in Georgia.

A man identified as B.M., holding the citizenship of Uzbekistan and Israel, was detained in Georgia in December 2016.

He was wanted for thesexual abuse of a child in New York.

The detainee was extradited to the US on September 8, where he will face an American court of law.
