Georgian parliamentary delegation is taking part in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) annual session in the Belarusian capital of Minsk.
Head of delegation Sofio Katsarava has been elected as the speaker of the economic and environment committees, which means that she will be actively engaged in the assembly’s activities from now on and contribute to promoting Georgian reforms on the international level.

Belarus is hosting 26th annual session from July 5-9 on ‘Boosting Cooperation and Confidence in OSCE Region for Peace and Welfare’.
Within the annual session, Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to OSCE PA, held bilateral meetings in Minsk.
OSCE PA annual session is important because security and economic partnership, human rights protection and building trust among the countries is actively discussed. Our goal is to remind everyone what is happening in Georgia”, Georgian delegation member Gigi Tsereteli said.
300 participants from Northern American, European and Asian countries discuss political, economic, social and human rights issues at the OSCE PA annual summit. The summit will be concluded by adoption of the respective resolutions and Minsk Declaration with the recommendations for the Governments, Parliaments and international society.
Last year OSCE PA annual session was hosted by the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
