The United States Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly has stated he shared the view of international observing organisations that Georgia’s First and Second Rounds of  Parliamentary Elections were mainly well organised and competitive, "reflecting the will of Georgian voters.”

I believe the elections once again proved Georgia is a leader country in terms of democratic development,” Kelly said.

The Ambassador stressed the observing organisations also spoke about certain electoral problems and incidents that needed to be judged, analysed and addressed.

Kelly highlighted it was important all parliamentary parties to work jointly to achieve key goals, which included fast development of democracy in Georgia, creating more jobs and the country’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures.
