Agenda.ge will be among nominees at the 2015 European Union (EU) Prize for Journalism Awards today in capital Tbilisi, with six categories revealing the best of local reporting.
Held at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, the prizes will be awarded to journalistic stories, media outlets and photo reports while an additional special section will identify the winner in peace reporting.
The annual event acknowledged "journalistic integrity and professionalism in Georgia", a preview for the occasion said.
Agenda.ge will be among contenders for two of the six categories for the prize after being nominated for the Most Informative Online Media and Best Documentary Photo sections.

The awards were open to all professional reporters and media outlets, with winners of the categories also receiving a money prize.
The EU Prize for Journalism was first awarded by the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia in 2012.
Last year's edition of the prize awarded six reporters and writers along with the Kakheti Information Centre news agency.
