Georgia sends Independence Day greeting to Turkmenistan

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili has extended his greetings and warm wishes to the government and people of Turkmenistan on their Independence Day.

In his message to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Garibashvili said he wished for peace and welfare for the nation of Turkmenistan.

"It is with great pleasure that I point out the establishment of close relationships between our countries and I hope that, as a result of our joint efforts, we will be able to transfer our bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level,” Garibashvili’s note read.

On October 27, 2015 Turkmenistan celebrated its 24th anniversary of the nation’s independence.
